• Makkoho (done as a warming-up exercise)
• Aikido basic practice and techniques session
• Shodo Japanese calligraphy lesson
• Zazen seated meditation practice session
• Shojin-ryori vegetarian lunch
• Admission fee for Hokoji Temple

Using public transportation with a guide from Hamamatsu city centre to the Hokoji Temple. After a thorough Aikido practice session at the Budokan, you will go to the Hokoji Temple and get a chance to experience its history since it was established in 1371. Having a chance to eat a Buddhist vegetarian meal (shojin-ryori) there, Japanese traditional eating etiquette will be taught to you. After the meal you will experience Zazen seated meditation practice and Shodo under the attentive guidance of a Buddhist priest. Then you will be shown around the extensive temple buildings and gardens before returning to Hamamatsu city centre. On this course, please remember to bring with you casual sportswear, a towel and a drink.
